Laurel acquires and develops strategic assets and builds companies, primarily in the environmental arena.
Since 1990, Jeff Kendall, along with his long time but now largely retired partners, has led the acquisition and development of many environmental businesses. Laurel successfully acquired nearly 200 companies in seven consolidation plays. A number of these businesses were sold either to public companies or two private equity firms while some have grown into successful independent enterprises. Today, Laurel continues to acquire, build, operate, and look for new opportunities to build great companies and partner with great people.
Today Laurel is focusing on developing assets around Telluride Waste in Colorado and actively looking for the new opportunities.
Laurel looks for opportunities to build great companies that are foundational to the communities they serve.
